Refund Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

We want every client to feel confident engaging The Creators. This policy outlines when refunds apply to our design, development, mobile app and marketing services.

1. Deposit & Milestone Payments

Projects are billed in milestones. The initial deposit (typically 40% of project value) secures your slot in our schedule and covers discovery, planning and early design work — it is non-refundable once work has begun, as it compensates time and resources already committed.

2. Mid-Project Cancellation

If you cancel a project after the deposit but before completion, you will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the total project scope. Any amount paid beyond completed work will be refunded within 14 business days.

3. Completed Deliverables

Once a milestone has been approved and delivered (e.g., final design files, a launched website, or a submitted app build), payment for that milestone is non-refundable, as the deliverable has been transferred and accepted.

4. Retainer Services (SEO & Marketing)

Monthly SEO and digital marketing retainers are billed in advance for the upcoming month of work. You may cancel future months at any time with 15 days' notice; the current active month is non-refundable once work has commenced.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — including but not limited to domain registrations, premium plugin/theme licenses, stock imagery, and paid ad spend — are non-refundable.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email hello@thecreators.pro with your project name and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3 business days and, where a refund is due, process it within 14 business days to your original payment method.

7. Disputes

If you're unsatisfied with a deliverable, please raise it with your project lead first — most concerns are resolved through revisions included in your project scope. Unresolved disputes are handled per the Governing Law clause in our Terms of Service.
